*Its Wednesday already!!!
I tell ya, long weekends really mess with my head. And for some reason my alarm clock has gone bonkers - with the snooze it usually goes off every 9 minutes, but this morning it seemed more like 15 or something - it was really weird. So my morning has been quite messed up. I almost didn't get paid this week too (mostly because I'm a moron) but Marie pulled through - HOORAY! The highlight of each week is coming in here on Thursday to get my check in the morning and then depositing it in the afternoon. Glorious, glorious money.
My brother is quite the clever little thing. He has made a montage video of "We Didn't Start the Fire" where everything that is said in the song has a picture that goes with it that flashes up in time with the music. Then during the chorus parts he does a montage of the Vietnam War, the Civil Rights movement, etc. There are also quotes throughout said by people during those times. At the end is a series of pictures from 1990 on (because the song ends in 1989) of significant events from pop culture to politics. It is QUITE good and I love watching it over and over. Some of the pictures that he found are really neat. I think he might give a copy to some of the history teachers at the high school if he can get it to transfer to a CD without it having glitches. He seems to be having problems with the Windows Movie Maker (I don't know what its called) Its fine on HIS computer but if he tries to transfer it, it has pauses and doesn't line up with the music like the original does. Anyone use this, know what I'm talking about, and can offer help?!??!
The song is pretty cool once you really know the history behind all of the people/places/events in the song.
