[Wow, she really likes to babble.]

Why not skip the hex and get straight to the point?

[What the hell, who is this?]

Nothing I do is lethal.

Another meeting would be fine!

I believe it would be as well and I have an idea I think we ought to discuss.

I think everyone will enjoy it.

How have you been? I hope you've stayed well and not gotten sick like I did.

Yes, I'm sure. [Protip: she's feeling better in some ways and weirder in others.] I feel fine now.

All right; if you say so.

... were you here last Christmas? [Which is weird, because he knows that she spent last Christmas escaping a certain snake-lady's house with Harry.] What'd you lot do last year?

I was. A lot of us were. We spent some time together and it was a nice time. We could probably have a small celebration with our housemates. It'll just be strange not having Luna here.

[Strange and quite a bit sad.]

[ Well, Lightning's heard of 'December' already, but... ]

'Christmas?'

It's a holiday in my world. It was originally supposed to be the birthday of a very important person for several religious groups, but it's now twisted into that and an excuse to buy the people you care about gifts. It's all about the spirit of giving. Supposedly. Most people just like to show off what they can afford. [Given her tone of voice, it's probably safe to say she doesn't like people who do that.]

[ Several... what groups? ]

Okay. So it's... basically a birthday party for everyone.

...In a way. It's a time to appreciate everyone who's important to you and to show them that you care. I think it's rather silly to have a whole holiday devoted to something you ought to be doing normally, but I can't complain too much about it. It's a good time of year.

[XDDD Or wand, whichever the case may be at the time.]

Well, I like it better this way. [For today only at least. She'll spend tomorrow growing it back out.] It gives me a sense of freedom now, like I'm not expected to keep it long anymore.
