Oi...
This week has been hard. It feel like it's gone on far too long. When my alarm went off this morning I had a moment of "thank god it's Friday." Then I realized it was only Thursday *head desk*
Work is getting worse...we had another member of our group give her two weeks notice today. In the beginning of May our department was fully staffed at 9 people. End of May we had 7. End of June we had 6. End of July we'll have 5. And no one has been hired to replace the manager we lost in May...strange isn't it? Even stranger, the 4 people we're down all quit, none were let go or fired, and we're in the state with the highest unemployement rate...that says a lot. Means everyone is really trying to get new jobs and leave. And I still have to post about my own options but I'll get to that this weekend sometime.
Family visit has been weird. I went over to my grandparents house after work to help go through my grandma's Halloween decorations. The house looks extremely weird all messy and torn apart with boxes everywhere. It's not getting as done as my dad had originally hoped, but considering he's on a lot of pain meds from the accident it's to be expected. I have a box of stuff I'm keeping that were my grandparents things so I'll have some additional momentos to remember them by. Which is an odd statement since my grandpa is still with us. But hopefully it makes sense.
Did manage to see Sorcerer's Apprentice last night. Good fun movie, but hey...that's what I'd hoped for.
Random note - I'm feeling better about my Vampire Knight DVD preorders, the DVD will have the original Japanese track on them as well as the English dub. I don't think I'll be listening to the English dub very often, I'd much rather watch it subtitled with the voices I LIKE for the characters instead of the very oddly cast ones, not to mention I'd like to hear the names said correctly :P
And yeah...I think with that I'm going to go to pass out bed now. Two more days of full busy shit then finally Sunday I can sleep in - thank the heavens.
