Tomorrow is my Friday at work...mainly cause I'm taking Friday off so I have a 3-day weekend for my birthday. I gotta say I'm really happy knowing I just have my 8 hour day tomorrow then I don't have to think about work until Monday. This week has just felt very...blargh at work and I'm sure it's because of the last two weeks being short people. But either way I thought I should do a post so here I am, will do a couple bullet points then I think it will be bedtime for me.
In the realm of my workshop, it's going pretty well I think. Tonight I actually came home from work and wrote a completely new poem. I'm rather proud of myself since it's been awhile since I wrote a new one. I still have to give it a title but for the time being I feel rather accomplished. Now if I can just crank out a few more I think I will have all my poems lined up for this workshop and will just need to do the weekly responses :D
Tomorrow night I'm going to see the 10th anniversary one night viewing of Boondock Saints with a friend. I've already seen the movie, watched it before going to the second one last year, but it should be fun. After the movie we're going to go to dinner at a diner that's kind 60's themed that we haven't been to in a long time. So it should be fun :D Pre-birthday celebration as she's calling it. My real celebrating will be this Saturday night when I go out with my girlfriends for dinner at a brick oven pizza place that's super yummy.
Last night I bought two episodes of Daria off iTunes *happy dance* I'm so excited they have the first two seasons on there. I already have the DVD set preordered for May but just...woohoo! I plan on watching one of the episodes on my lunch break tomorrow at work.
Over the last few nights I've been watching Junjo Romantica again. I know the first season comes out on DVD in the USA in April but I dunno...just really had the desire to watch it again. Which is strange cause I had the same feeling this time last year o.O Maybe it's all a sign that I really need a romantic life.
Also big thanks to dissonant_dream for the birthday card that showed up in my mailbox today *snugs* Not to mention all the post cards I always forget to thank you for *hides*
And with that note I think I shall head up to bed and put on another Junjo episode to fall asleep to :) Sleep well all *snugs*
