What I thought, while reading this, was something along the lines of, "Oh, okay. Nice turn of phrase. Oh, dear, someone who doesn't grok Crowley at all. I see where this is going, um .... Oh. No, I didn't! I was wrong, good ... *grin* ... a nice twist at the end!"

A carefully-laid argument with a lovely little loophole. Very nicely done. ;]

Amazing. Simply amazing. It's an emotional sucker punch, but then that last line comes in, and I gasped, laughed, and realized once more (and maybe more than I ever have in my many re-reads of GO) just how atypical and wonderful Crowley is. The concise writing and sharp lines added to that as well. Thank you for the excellent read. This one's definitely going in my memories. :)
