"Tapping a Hero" has the
Gummy Bear intro. GOD I love Robot Chicken sometimes.
Watched most of Wall-E again tonight, and a taped version of Victor/Victoria from Broadway. I LOVE JULIE ANDREWS SO MUCH. I just want to meet her and make her be my grandmother. She'd be the best, srsly. Every time I watch something with her in it, I remember how much I love her and her voice and her everything. She would spoil you and read you stories and sing you songs and it would be so frickin' great.
Mom got me started on a new book.
Dog On It by Spencer Quinn.
It. Is. So. CUTE. Chet is like the dog I want to have one day.
Also, on the subject of books; Dad is rapidly working his way through the Belgariad, and he kind of likes it. His only peeve is that they're strining Garion along and won't tell him anything, but I told him just wait until he gets to the Malloreon when he gets to be every flavor of AWESOME.
Which reminds me of a great quote (of the yesterday) from the fantastic time I had at Zach's with Julie, Abby and Yixin (and Zach, obviously, we weren't just crashing at his house):
Julie: It needs something else, like awesome-- oh wait, it ALREADY HAS IT.
She was speaking of pasta salad.
I love my friends, sometimes. She's going to take me to go get a guitar and teach me! I'm excited. :D
What makes me even more excited: I'VE GOT TOMORROW OFF. Hallelujah. Except I'm not going to get to sleep until whenever I feel like it, I have to get up and start working on re-painting my room and refurnishing the thing and deciding where the new furniture is going to go and GAH it's going to be ghastly. Whatever. I'm going to tear myself away from Julie Andrews being amazing as a woman pretending to be a man pretending to be a woman and settle down with Chet and his human Bernie and the mystery as soon as the penultimate episode of SVU's 10th season finishes downloading.
