Fall Out Boy keeps me sane; barely

I mean that as in I sing choruses/random snippets of verses I can remember off of Folie a Deux while I'm sitting on stand at the JCC. I probably look/sound crazy, but it keeps my attention from wandering, so. The only thing I have to do is memorize the lyrics so I can sing more than "Boycott love, detox just to retox / I'd promise you anything for another shot at life ... [don't know the words here, mumble something that's surely wrong] / nobody wants to hear you sing about tragedy" over and over and over again.

Learned how to lock up today from Ken after the hordes of small children who don't listen/can't hear me over the music blaring on the speakers left. God, I hate Splash Day. *sigh* But I don't have to work until 6:15pm tomorrow. Unfortunately that'll mean I'm going to miss Dancing With The Stars and the premiere of The Bachelorette. I usually pride myself on being above the latter sort of television (except for the kind that comes on VH1 because that's just my trailer-trash-pleasure), but Steph got me hooked on Jillian the Bachelorette from this past season of the Bachelor. Damn her. So that's tomorrow and Wednesday until 9:15pm. Joy of joys.

I never realized how much working takes it out of me. I slept for like, 11 hours last night and I was still tired. Maybe I'm not eating enough. Although my body certainly isn't shedding any weight. Grah.

Rachel is home, but I haven't seen her yet, and likely will not since I intend on sleeping tomororw, then going to school, then ... possibly I will hang in the early afternoon before work, but who knows. That will most likely be spent reading in the den with a snack/dinner.

Anyway. Nothing of note to report, other than I really still want to see X-Men: Wolverine and I can't seem to find anyone to go with me. *pout*

music, working hard or hardly working, that crazy stephanie girl
