Almost Forgot - CUBS Game tonight at 7:05
Ed and i are going to the Cubs game tonight. i am not a big fan; however, Ed is and he wanted me to come with him. i reluctantly said "yes" as he needed some release and fun. He's been driving now and healing nicely. i have had to be creative to make him feel real nice - i'm quite the devil in disguise and can always think of things. *smile*
We have 2 extra tickets - originally another couple from the 'hood were coming, but they had a last minute thing come up last night. These aren't really good seats but it should still be fun. i feel bad for Ed - this is his team! He loves them and they really had a rotten season. i'll be a good girl and not mention it to him. We're scouting around to see if someone wants to come with us - perhaps a true fan - cuz i don't know how exciting it will be considering where they are placed in the standings. Otherwise, i'll just burn them when we come home. (yes, i thought of Sir and his wife (my sister slave) but they are way down by Joliet and he works too late to make it to the game in time) Trust me, he knows how to use a bat so deliciously and other devices as well. Can you tell i crave him too? *giggle*
i have to get to work here - it's difficult sometimes as we run our business out of the home and i can get distracted. *hee* We've had a good week. We booked a former Bears' player -Dan Jiggets- and we booked an astronaut -Mike Mullane- this week thus far. We also have our fingers crossed as a head hunter found out about Ed and put him in touch with an organization just a town over. That would be another good commute and we could use some of these benefits. Please keep your fingers crossed for him.
