Bristol Renaissance Faire

Wow - i had a great time yesterday with Sir and his slave/wife. They came and picked me up on the way to the Faire and then dropped me off on their way home. i showed them my Rose of Sharon bushes which are in full bloom and offered them some plants. We have done this in the past - most of the bushes that we have given away are thriving and we still get compliments. If anyone is in the area and would like some, the fall is the perfect time to transplant them and i would enjoy sharing their beauty.

So after some talk (Ed had to partake in a Cook County River Watch Community Group)we headed up to the Faire. We were bright &early and at the gates before it opened. We were able to watch and participate in the opening show and as the gates opened, both Sir and alpha slave made a beeline for a store on my behalf. Little did i know what the two of them had in mind for me.

We went to a Chain mail shop and Sir talked to the manager in charge. Turns out that i was instructed to give him my driver's license for the day and i was sent to a back room of the store. Again, i received more instructions and this time it was to remove all of my clothes. Good thing i have an easy time getting naked now after being at dungeons and Sir's home. (It wasn't too much clothes to remove either as it was just a sundress - it's a rule that i can only wear 1 piece of clothing when i'm with Him - even publically. *grin*) i have not worn a pair of pants except when i am on the back of one of Sir's Harleys. i believe that i have posted a pic of both of his bikes in previous entries.

So, off went my dress into a bin with a strange man putting me into amazing costume. Sir took pics and will be sending them to me shortly. If i like them, i might post them. Otherwise they will be for Ed's eyes only. Little kids would point at me and say...look at her costume. All in all it was a ton of fun. Sir got a lot of positive comments from the workers and Faire goers that he was a lucky man to have two and he must be doing something right. His slave/wife and i were beaming and very happy. He allowed for us to get wiggly and bought us both a few beers. i was a virgin to the Faire before and so they popped my cherry, but they assured me that this will be an annual event for the 3 of us.

The most favorite surprise was to go to a chail mail jewelry store (different store that i had received my costume from)and Sir purchased a metal(chain mail - LOL) beautiful choker for me. He carried it around in his pocket until we met up with his munch group from Joliet - a very great group of people!! He proceeded to do an impromptu ceremony right in the middle of RenFaire with the group looking on and his slave/wife holding my hand. i received my collar of consideration and am not allowed to take it off. After 30 days of introspection, if everyone agrees (including Ed,) it will be locked in place only to be taken off if there is an emergency. His slave/wife has never had to take hers off. Although i don't think she has had a MRI before. That is really the only reason i can think of where it would be appropriate. i'm certain if there was an extreme reason, He could be talked into it as he is very reasonable. i am DELIRIOUSLY happy!!!!!!!! i received so much love yesterday. i was also able to play with a llama and two elephants. i don't think that anyone can scrape me off the ceiling.

Next weekend will be the double graduation party for my kids (Emily & Greg) and then two days later, we take Em to University of Illinois. She landed a job right away in Food Services in the dorms. She wanted spending money while at school and they will give her a cut in meals. i'm proud of her taking this on. We will be down to one child at home - Greg - who will be his Freshmen year in high school. He is always busy with a ton of activities. Ed and i won't know what to do with ourselves. (Yeah..and if you believe that one, i have a bridge in New York to sell you!)

The following weekend, i'll be at Sir's home again for a long weekend of debauchery. i'm sure that i will learn and endure new evil plans and we'll also have some fun in the pool & games as well.

That's it for the updates from this weekend. i still have to journal to Sir and so i'm going to end this for now.

If you haven't been to the Renaissance Faire, it's highly suggested as it was a lot of fun from my perspective - if that counts. Bring some money, eat some good food, drink some beer and enjoy the Ladies, Lords and the wenches. Then, come home and soak your tired feet.
