Just got an increase in my scholarship offer.

$52,000 over four years from $38,000. HOLY FUCKING SHIT. But...the school isn't my first choice.

I still really want to go to Spain, and my first choice American college I haven't heard from yet (counting down the days 'til April 4th).

I got accepted to my second college!! I'm so so excited, but my parents are very upset. Why?, you may ask. Most parents would be proud of their child, you may say. Well, because it just so happens that this particular college happens to be in Spain, and I got a big enough merit scholarship that I can go whether they like it or not.
