26 icons from Final Fantasy VIII

This round has been pretty intense for me. Tornado warnings, blackouts, sicknesses and a wealth of other things. Guess this'll teach me not to put my icons off until the last few days, right? Okay, probably not but it's a nice thought.

So after much trial and tribulation here's my next set for otp20in20! I'm still feeling frazzled so I won't say much.

noo..it's fun to see the rambling..kay, I am a big fan of FF VIII so..
I know how you feel about Empress...it certainly right..even tho he never showed it so clearly..
and I like time so much!! >m< it's really..really..hehehe!

Seriously. I had about 2 to 2.5 hours to make a good 13/14 icons this time. It's getting utterly ridiculous.

That's good to hear, since I'm a terrible rambler. It's one of my trademarks by now I think. That just means you have good taste. >3
I was really unsure about what to do for the Cat icons, so I'm really glad that idea popped into my head while skimming over the definitions for them. I knew exactly what I wanted for the middle 3, it's the outer two that I haphazardly stuck together so that's probably why I don't like them as much. XD; Poor Temperance and Sun.

I had an interesting time making that one. Did you know it was originally supposed to be monochrome? That's why there's a black and white alt down there. It wasn't until later that I went "Oh no what do I do for time?!" that I made that icon time and whipped up a new monochrome. (Which I changed once again after that. I'm so wishy washy.I'm still a little unsure about Rinoa's shadow, I had to come up with a way to do it myself since she ended up shadowless by the time I

But the temperance And sun seems to be fine there...I think it's just fine..
It's originaly a monochrome?!?! Gawd..but I like it in color better XDD..
And shadowless!! LOL..but you sure to did a good job!!
That tower..that tower..GAWD..I always love that scene..it's the beginning of Rinoa's change of heart from Seifer towards Squall..

Well, I'm apparently getting better as an icon maker, which probably just means I'm getting better at churning out lots of icon in little time. @_@

As they say everyone is their own worst critic.
I do too actually, which is probably part of why it became Time instead. lol
I cheated! Since I'd literally cropped Rinoa out. I just duplicated her, made her black, blurred it and then fiddled with the opacity before angling it. lol So I used Rinoa to make her own shadow.

I love that scene too! I hadn't really thought about it like that, but I think it is where Rinoa starts to clue in to things. You don't know what you've got until you almost loose it after all, right?
