Two tutorials

Two more tutorials (I'm on a roll lol). I tried to choose two icons that weren't made following the exact same "method" so that I didn't end up posting the same thing twice. The first one is not exactly an icon (tumblr art) but I had the PSD saved so it made my life a lot easier.

I don't know that much about curves either, I just toy around with them lol.

Ok so when you put those Input/Output settings (I really should have put Output first so that people don't get confused because in PS it's Output first and Input second) do the curves look like that (just an example)?


Because I used to move only the initial two dots and that really screws up the image. So I just click in a spot to create a new one.

Also it all depends on the image you have. For example the first Curves layer on the Betty icon will only work with really dark caps like this one. If you put it on others it will look like a mess.

Ok that's all I can think now, but you could upload a PSD so that I can see if there is anything wrong or it's just the image.
