For people like me... this is not work at all, Herr Gafgarion. This is life itself. The clash of steel upon steel, the cries of defiance and pain, the strategy and maneuver! This is the reason that I and my Battalion exist, this exquisite joy that we find upon the battlefield!

To put it in the simplest possible terms, most creatures fight for a reason, for a purpose- patriotism, revenge, the defense of innocent lives, or, in your case, coin. But there are some people in this world, certain unthinkably vile savages, for whom fighting requires no reason to justify it.

In other words, there are people like us.

ooc: I'll see which Millennium-muns are around, and then the Major will give his competitors a little visit. Where is the Legion camped out right now?

We are going to strike at our would-be competitors, and give them a taste of how real career soldiers do battle. I want to see if this rag-tag rabble is truly worthy of competing with us for a share of this war's slaughter! And to remind our prospective patrons which of us is the most powerful.

You will accompany our forces in the field, and observe the capabilities of this 'Legion' firsthand. I want a detailed report on what they're really made of.
