[Through The Gate] Application: INTRODUCTION
I live in the Pegasus galaxy...now that’s not exactly close to home, so I heard about this place from a few people on base, and...well, I figured it couldn’t hurt to get out a little more. Even if it is only virtual.
Name’s Lieutenant Colonel John Sheppard, ATLANTIS expedition. I got assurances that the SGC’s checked out security here, so I’m cleared to talk about most anything I want. Within reason...so yes, I can admit that I’m not living on Earth...and yes, I can tell you with absolute honesty that some of my best friends are technically aliens from another planet. Anything else...well, we’ll take it on a case by case basis.
If you’d like to know more about me, though...well, I’m a pretty nice guy for one. I like country music...Johnny Cash specifically, but I also enjoy Willie Nelson and Waylon Jennings...pretty much all the good ones. Don’t toss me any Garth Brooks or Rascal Flatts...not my thing. I play a little guitar...more like playing at playing guitar, I play golf, and I like to read. In moderation, mind you. I’m not much of a lab rat, but I’m okay at math, and I’m not totally lost when McKay starts going on about certain things.
