I haven't updated in a long time... I think either I've been avoiding it, or haven't felt comfortable. Who knows honestly?
I have been talking with Haley online and she said something about So Long Forever. And I think it's best to go on and break the news to those who don't already know... Yes, So Long Forever is over. And no, there are no hard feelings at all. I am lucky enough to say that I was a member of this band. I love that band, and I always will. Reason for the ending is our dear guitarist is moving on to bigger and better things. I support him in this decision, and couldn't ask for anything more. He will now be the bassist for This Day Will Burn. I am more than happy to say that I will be at all the shows possible just to support Corey. He is extremely talented, and deserves anything offered to him. Plus, now he can have everything he has ever desired... Now he will be part of a focused sacred band. I love Corey and wish him only the best.
Speaking of Corey... His local hardcore band (name is possibly... If Only I Had Wings -?- not sure about the name) will be playing in Memphis at the New Daisy this friday. Newman, SLF bassist, is in the band as well. Everyone should try to get their butts out there to watch them. It's going to be great. I'll be there!
We drove by the house we are thinking of buying today, and it made me happy. Then we talked about the whole "deletion of arts program at tupelo high" thing, and I couldn't help but wondering what our place would look like if we did indeed move. My keeps stressing New York because of all the Performing Arts based schools, I guess that's a good idea. I like the winter there... But, who knows, this is only a "if" thing. But, the house here in Tupelo isn't far from this house... I don't care, just as long as it isn't THIS house.
My mom and I have been cleaning out the garage... it's almost done. We could actually park in the garage if we wanted to. Haha, I doubt we will.
I'm looking for a new Keyboard harcore because I officially say good by to old trusty ('87 bitches!!) on Friday... Daniel better treat him well... OR ELSE.
Summer needs to hurry... I need that free time... I'll be in NY for three weeks though, so... hopefully that will be a blast, who knows. And of course Nebraska... and so on. But I will be taking random road trips with kids! Haha. It'll be great... many trips to the coast and everywhere else my car will get me. DONT EFF WITH THE MATRIX.
