I just found out that one of my greatest influences and most important friends' HIV has progressed to full blown AIDS.  I have many friends that pray, I have many that don't... whatever it is that you do... Keep him in your thoughts.  He is amazing and strong.
Please, don't assume things like:

• He must be gay.
• He must sleep around.
• God, does he not know protection?

Because these thoughts are the exact things that hinder the progress in HIV/AIDS research.  As a matter of fact... He was not homosexual, he has been married for 15 years, and has only slept with his wife.  His wife had been married once before...
Anyone can get AIDS... don't be an ignorant fool.
