Goong

It's taken me forever but I'm finally watching Goong. I've had countless people tell me to watch it and despite my original attitude about the show (somehow I convinced myself that it would be crap) I buckled down and started to watch it the other day.

I really like it ( Read more... )

Goong is one of my favorite dramas, but I totally get what you mean. I was pretty frustrated by the middle of the show. And I was hopelessly cheering for Yul the entire time because he is he is the most awesome thing ever. I don't want to ruin it for you, so I guess I shouldn't say anything else. :/

I'm pretty sure I know what happens and it just makes me not want to continue watching it. D:

I gave up on Goong after 15 episodes. And by gave up, I mean that I watched to episode 15, got bored and ended up skipping through the rest of the episodes.

I'm already skipping through the boring parts. :< One episode only took me twenty minutes because I skipped through unnecessary filler.

And there's a lot of unnecessary filler.

Half the stuff with Yul's Mum? Yeah, I didn't even watch that.

It was freaking fantastic up until about episode ten, where it only became so-so. Then the elder-related stuff took up too much time. Plus Yul. Because Yul has all the crappy stuff happen to him. ;o;

D: I love Yul. <3333 I always like the guy that's not the hero. :(

I have the same problem. ;o; Plus the guy that's not the hero tends to have more reason to deserve the heroine. Like Yul. It kinda takes the fun out of some dramas.

Yeah. A lot of dramas are ruined like that. :< I mean, it's okay if the main lead redeems himself, like in Coffee Prince, but in most dramas he just continues to be an ass and doesn't grow as a character.
