Isn't this beautiful...

The anniversary of my mum's passing is the same day as the International Day of Non-Violence.

May all beings who have been our parents enjoy happiness,

May all the lower realms where beings suffer come to a permanent end,

And may the prayers of the Bodhisattvas residing in all directions be fulfilled.

This weekend (October 2nd, to be exact) is the second anniversary of my mother's passing.

The past few days have been just covered in awesome-sauce!( yeah, i said awesome-sauce! )

Looks like dad's having a wonderful time in Oz, even if he's tired and desires to be home and comfy.

So dad has a heck of alotta food in the freezer now!

* 6 servings of spaghetti bolognaise
* 12 servings roasted chicken
* 12+ servings of mummy's homemade chicken soup
* 4-6 servings of soup chicken
* 6 servings of meatloaf
* still need to do something with the lamb cubes

I feel very accomplished! :D

An online friend of mine has lost someone near and dear to her.
There is no just "cheer[ing] up" in these situations
I intimately know that nothing anyone says really helps the pain and grief
