I get to see kurosawa and tiwonge in less than a month! Yippee!
Today's events include (mostly for Lewis, with me simply observing):
- calling pest control (die roaches, die!)
- calling our home warranty company about our busted A/C unit
- contacting Fr. Timothy about confirming our marital preparation for the
Cathedral and the State of Tennessee (so we can get money off our
marriage license fee)
- buying wedding bands
Yes, that's right. Less than a month before the wedding and we still haven't purchased wedding bands. Oops.
Also, we have to figure out what music we're going to use at the reception and get it all up on the iPod that Lew's dad gave us. This is going to be even harder than agreeing on what music we should have in the wedding liturgy! Lew's going to want rap; I'm going to want Dylan... oh dear...
I've been trying to decide what gifts to give to my wedding party. What do you all think about giving them little herb green houses from IKEA? They have wooden joints that I could customize for each bridesmaid, and have little tiny metal pails to plant the herbs in. Cute? or lame? Any other ideas?
Well, I have to go help Lew with our various to-do lists. He's leaving town on Tuesday or Wednesday to go on a camping trip with his dudes, then off to Memphis. So we've only got four more days to do stuff together in Waco before the wedding. Eek!
