Not so shit luck.
Okay, the sprain is only a sprain and isn't very bad at all. I was walking without crutches for most of the day. Plus they gave me a script for Vicoden. The seem to give that shit away like candy.
My boss came by my house yesterday to officially offer me the lead therapist job which, turns out, comes with a considerable raise. We are talking 20%. Most unexpected. I accepted.
Then I got a letter from my attorney saying that the insurance company made a settlement offer on my foot injury case. They low balled me, not surprisingly but my lawyer seems to think that I have a good chance at ending up with the figure I am hoping for.
So, I can't really complain at the moment.
And, only 2 days left of school.
Hot damn.
