So, thanks to a member of knitting , I figured out what I was doing wrong! I was missing a step when I was casting on. I went over to knittinghelp.com and watched a video of the cast on and realized it right away. So, I knit a few rows last night and they look much better than the ones I posted. Not perfect, but that's to be expected I suppose, haha =)

Okay, so I posted this on knitting, but decided I'd post it on here also.

I'm having trouble with the knit stitch. I know what to do, I just can't figure out how to do it right.

So, I've decided to keep a knitting journal seperate from my personal journal, so I don't bore them all with everything...haha.

I decided to learn how to knit because I just need a hobby and I always thought knitting looked fun. So, I went to A.C. Moore and bought some yarn, knitting needles and a book for beginners.
