A sunny day on a January Saturday means I could go for an extended walk. Because I needed to run an errand at Target, I decided to walk from there and explore a neighborhood I’d never before visited. And that took me to a THPRD park. It was a very pleasant walk. I struck a conversation with a couple of women who were walking a dog. We talked about the weather, the neighborhood, and photography. A sunny day in Oregon brings everyone outside, and after many days of being huddled indoors, it was an opportunity to be social.
