Old Stuff
With the backyard landscaping complete, the major project for the house this summer is a new round of box/stuff review, sorting, reboxing, and purging in the garage. There is already a large collection of giveaway boxes and a large pile of discard/trash. I spent a fair amount of time on Saturday and Sunday establishing separate piles in the garage and reviewing a few boxes of stuff. Even one box could take a while to assess - which things to keep and where to put them, which things to giveaway, and which things to discard.
One of the boxes had a slim folder of photos. The box was related to photo framing projects, so the photos involved were a variety spanning 40 years. Two photos were proof photos from a studio session at Esprit 2002. I liked the close-up photo - but the big problem is that it was badly out-of-focus. The studio photographer was rather new at the business and messed up. So I ended up with no enlargements. All I’ve got are the two proof prints. But they did bring back memories. 19 years ago!
