(no subject)
So this is a long overdue post! I've just been enjoying every single moment after the exams.
In the last month, I went to Greece which was absolutely gorgeous! 10 days wasn't enough and we didn't get to do much island hopping so we just visited Athens, Santorini and Mykonos. I'll definitely go back to Greece again to go to the other islands (:
Then we headed back to London for a couple of days before leaving for Singapore via Shanghai. Ohmygoodness 2 days of traveling really wore me out, but it was great seeing Mommy again!! The suite in GPH was niceeee! Poor Mommy was alone every weekday since Dad traveled every Monday-Friday, and only comes back for the weekend. Nonetheless, I loved having buffet breakfast with Mommy each and every morning and just talking non-stop! 9 days in Singapore flew by really quickly and I didn't get to see everyone that I wanted to see. It was mostly family members so that was nice! I guess I'll just have to go back again in August!!
Next was 3 days in Shanghai which went by even quicker!! Phew it was so hot and humid back there!! We couldn't do much in 3 days except tailoring some clothes at the fabric market, buying lots of shoes and our daily massages which were 2 hour long (ah bliss!). One of my little cousins, well not so little, Jaime came over while we were there and we had a great 2 days together! While Vicky did her daily run which lasted 2 hours, I brought Jaime cycling along the streets of Shanghai and it was such an adventure for her. Haha there were lots of screaming and laughter while cycling along Hongqiao Lu (:
And before we knew it, Vicky and I are back in London again! There was a heatwave in the past week but once we touched down, it started pouring and it even hailed yesterday! I guess that's a typical summer day in UK, isn't it?
