The cousin from New York is in London now (:
It's great to catch up with her since the last time we met was in Singapore when I graduated from high school in Shanghai and was about to head to Uni!!
These 2 weeks are going to be a blast!! But oops!! I'm supposed to be studying!!
Hopefully we'll be able to visit her in June but Mommy's worried about swine flu!!
Spoke to Mommy dearest yesterday and the conversation went something like this...
Momma: We went out for dinner with the neighbours
Liz: Oh cool! How was it?
Momma: It was good. We went to a club after that in XinTianDi.
Liz: (Long pause) You went to a club?
Momma: Yeah. It was very loud though. But I had fun dancing.
ROFL!!
My mother's out enjoying nightlife in Shanghai while I'm stuck here studying!! Apparently my Dad and the other guys went as well but they had to look after the ladies' purses. Hahaha!!
Ugh I'm so envious of my Mommy. She and 2 of her girl friends are heading to Hong Kong for the weekend and after that she's off to Singapore for a month ): ):
