The Hunger Games.

I finished reading The Hunger Games trilogy and realized I had no other place to write my impressions about it under a safe cut than my Livejournal. I haven't written anything for so long... But here it goes.

*WARNING* Heavy spoilers about the end from here (end of the books, not just the 1st movie!).

Ah, how nice to find another fan! I loved both the books and the movie (and this has to be the movie adaption that wasn't one whole fail compared to the books).
Though I have to say, characters I personally liked were Cinna and Rue (I almost died of cuteness when I saw her in the movie). Katniss is a great character too, she is so authentic, and the way her feelings are brought across is amazing.
I would love to see Katniss and Peeta drawn by you by the way! >w

I went to watch the movie without expecting much, since all the hype could make it look more interesting than it really was... but it wasn't the case, I loved it! I have to say I became fan only when reading the books though, they go deeper into everything. I'm very curious how they're going to make them into films, but we'll have to wait for a year and a half OTL

Personally, I found the last book really hard to read because of Katniss's broken state, but I'm glad the two broken people still ended up in the end though haha. /o/ I honestly never thought much of it, but man "It all started to save Prim, it all ended with her death." THIS. I just realized SLFKJASVASKFJ!!

Also I would.. very much support Katniss and Peeta art. *__*

The last book is hard to read in that sense, it gave me a hard time during the whole thing.
Also, Peeta's life always seemed to be on a thin string, threatening the reader with dying ;;;
I was so tense during the whole book *laughs*

I just finished flailing over your comic with Peeta and Katniss and hope you don't mind me stalking you here XD your comic was amazing and I was just hunting to see if you had others hiding somewhere.

Glad to hear you liked the books... And you're right. I don't think it's happily ever after for them... But then life isn't happily ever after. At least they have each other!

Even though the last book broke my heart in many ways, I really liked the ending. A very happy ending for such a cruel story would not have looked good, and the way it ended was "as happy as it could be at that point". The book made a real impact on me, and that's one of the reasons I loved it so much!
