Today was quite nice. I went out to Barnes & Noble with Theresa and then we went to grab something to eat at Taco Bell. As soon as I returned, there was a message from Sunshine saying I needed to call her. So, I called and I went over. We drove to the mall so she could purchase her cell phone, but they were giving her the run-around simply because she didn't have any credit established. So, we went to pick up her brother, Dark Fire (and yes, that's his name - you can have your name legally changed and that's fucking awesome that he changed his name to such). We picked him and his girlfriend, Susan, up and went back to the mall. We went to Sam Goody instead this time because Dark Fire knew he could get Sunshine a deal there. While the guy rambled on and on, Susan and I sat in the floor and talked about favorite bands, movies, TV shows, etc. Then, as boredom still dwelled, I built a fort around myself with toys. As Dark Fire and Sunshine caught a glance of me doing this, they laughed hysterically. FINALLY, we were able to leave the store after being in there for over an hour. Susan, Sunshine and I waited in Cosmic while Dark Fire went to pick up something for Susan. We left and went to Joseph Beth so Sunshine could pick something up and then we went to Wal-Mart so she could pick something else up. I dropped her off and then took Susan and Dark Fire home. It's nice to have some new friends that are like-minded individuals. I'm so sick of the mallcore kids and the OC Frat looking people in this town. It's nice to feel welcome amongst a group of people again. Yes, all four of us walking around in the mall, Joseph Beth and Wal-Mart clad in black and trench coats. We had our share of stares tonight as usual, but at least we've opened our minds : . )
