today is my day off. i have nothing to do, and yet i feel strangely fulfilled. i still have a certain loneliness that will only change when something specific happens, but i've grown to live with that. now its just a steady longing i feel, and its there all the time, a little discouraging, but at the same time, a little exhilarating. discouraging

Totally. I don't get why people are so uptight about them. They're common in countries outside the US, so I think we're just backwards and not with what's cool and practical for swimwear. I don't get how anyone can find them uncomfortable either.. They make so much more sense than trunks that could fly off at a moment's notice.
