Day 2

May 19, 2013 21:45

So, another day in beautiful Toronto. And yeah, Toronto is beautiful. Maybe not as beautiful as Boston, but it has definitely some charm.

After breakfast we took our rental to Toronto and walked up to Casa Loma. On the way we got to see more of the mixture between modern buildings and old-fashioned European ones. Maybe that's why I like Toronto so much. It's not completely "New World" but it kept its old charm. From there we went shopping at Sears, bought nothing except a delicious frappuchino and walked down to the pier. Unfortunately the queue to the ferry to Toronto Island was way to long so we decided to walk along the lake. The weather was great and we had a good time.

After that we walked to the CN Tower went upstairs and enjoyed the amazing view. Usually I'm quite frightened of heights but today I was able to get outside and have a look at the Toronto skyline.

After dinner we went home and here I am now, tired, with hurting feet and a little sunburned but mostly fine.

Tomorrow we're off to see the Niagara Falls and go outlet shopping.
