A perfect late summer Saturday isn't complete without the buzz of college football. Thankfully, it's a perfect day and the Spartans took the field today in East Lansing. Today has also been great because I've been watching the wonderful game all afternoon. As the game began on tv I almost got teary as they panned the Red Cedar - the spot behind the Administration Building. Oh gosh I miss being on campus on sunny, football afternoons, watching the band spill out onto the field, Spart running full speed out of the the tunnel, the sword slashing through the other team's logo on the scoreboard, being packed into the stadium and not sitting down until it was over, and the hope that the Spartans could pull it off. I'll be back there soon!
Anywoo, I'm wating for my parents to get here as they make a stop on their vacation through western New York. Next weekend I'll be home for marriage prep class with Shaun (by the way, the wedding is only a year from this Thursday!). I think the rents are here...I can hear a motorcycle.
