So I’m late to the party for 2022 and slept on Turnstile that came out with Glow On in 2021, but it’s easily the most played album from this decade for me I believe. Call Me If You Get Lost got some play, but not every day like this and for as long. Since seeing them last month for the first time and now I’m looking at 2-3 more live shows while they are still doing this album so heavy live.
May 13 Sick New World
July 11 Opening for Blink-182
July 23 Rolling Loud (last day)
Sept 13 Riot Fest 2023 (open for Foo Fighters) and that would be my third time in a row in Chicago for Riot Fest. Sean wants to go since the headliners are pretty stacked.
As for 2022, it has to be Tyler, the Creator’s “Come On, Let’s Go”.
For 2023, “Mystery”, “Don’t Play”, “Holiday”, New Heart Design”, and “T.L.C.” all off Glow Up are nominated for best song of 2023. That record is THAT impressive.
Almost as impressive as the Miami Heat and Florida Panthers going from their #8 to the Finals. They are doing so well. Heat up 1-1 vs #1 Denver after beating #1-2 Bucks and Celtics, as well as the Bulls in the play-in and #6 Knicks. Jimmy “HIMMY Buckets” Butler leads a team that is stacked. Bam Adebayo, Kevin Love, Gabe Vincent, Caleb Martin, Duncan Robinson, Max Strus, Kyle Lowry, and Tyler Herro (who is coming back?!) are doing big things.
