Best Song of 2020 and 2021 and 2022
2020 of the ones listed… “If You’re Too Shy (Let Me Know) definitely got play.
2021 I was into Tyler, the Creator for new stuff and Alice In Chains suddenly became super popular for me and I sung so many AIC songs. I would end up seeing them again live in 2022 as I also saw Tyler for the first time. Both concerts blew me away. Considering how many I’ve been to and how many bands I saw this year going to Just Like Heaven, When We Were Young and also seeing Rage Against the Machine with Run the Jewels opening at Madison Square Garden, Riot Fest in Chicago seeing Coolio’s last show in Chicago and him dying less than 10 days later! Not to mention Yellowcard returning, Nine Inch Nails, throw in Incubus blowing me away and my second time seeing them as well as the Midnight. What a banner year.

Circa Survive - “Drift”

Tyler, the Creator - “MASSA”
Circa Survive - “Even Better”
Circa Survive - “Imposter Syndrome
For 2021, best song has to be Drift. I think it could be any one of those circa songs.
As far as songs I had never heard before, the best song was Alice In Chains “No Excuses”. That song quickly became a favorite along with “Frogs”. Tyler, the Creator also won me over with 2019’s album becoming a staple in 2021, most notably “I THINK” and “New Magic Wand”. His performance at the Grammy’s was especially amazing from his 2020 award.
For 2022, I still heard a lot of both those acts.
Tyler, the Creator- “Come On, Let’s Go” has to be the best song.
