I'VE GOT ME A JOB. YAYNESS.

Of course, it's not at Best Buy. They never called me back which meant the positions were all filled up. It's okay though. I know how much a first job is hard to get! ^^; Instead I did get a job at McDonald's (OH SNAP :O) for 5 hours a day for 5 days a week starting on Tuesday, when my first orientation is (I get to know ( Read more... )

Good luck on your job~~~~

o.o I'm not multilingual. I've taken Spanish for 2 years, French for 2 years, teaching myself Japanese, and 1 year of Chinese... With all of that, I can read and translate stuff but I can't really speak without having to think ahead of time everything I was going to say. D: I wish I had more knowledge of Japanese. I only know the grammatical aspects of the language. >< Not everything though, like where to place what when there's tons of things involved.

Aww, thank you so much~~~ I hope it goes well too. The lady was fairly nice to me, so it hopefully is a good working environment as far as fast food goes. :D

How are you and your life? ^^ What's going on with school or work?

Oh, but you've taken up other languages for over a year. That makes me jealous, since I don't really have the time to do so.

I have wanted to get a summer job, but I still haven't found any other openings. And besides, people say I'm too young to get a shift-type job. I should settle for commissions and stuff. D:

Oh, school. >.< It's driving me batty; finals week are next week and I sure hope that I'll be able to keep up with the massive influx of studying material...which means me and my tablet won't be seeing each other for a while. ;__;

You don't? D: Aww, I wish you did. I love languages! ^.^

Awww, too young!? o.o Unless you're under 14, here where I live you could find a job somewhere. I'd definitely buy some of your commission stuff when I get money. :D

Eeeee, you have finals week already?! We don't have them until December. What kind of school do you go to? Awwww, nooooo. I love your artwork! <3 I hope school and finals don't kill your brain. x.x

Actually, my university offers language courses, but it isn't credited unless it's in the course syllabus. ;__; And since those asshats people consider language subjects as not related to my course (Computer Science), I'm stuck with self-teaching.

Where I live, though, it's a requirement that you have an HS diploma to take a job. I'll be waiting for your money commissions...:3

We have two semesters per academic year, and here the year runs from June-October, then Octobfer to March...Augh, finals...x: It's a good and bad thing: bad since it's finals, good because after...it's a two-week semestral break. *_____*

Oh, really? o.o Awww, that's not fair at all. D< I'm going to bash some heads and see if that doesn't make them think straight! If I could teach you, I would but I'm a lame teacher-wannabe who is going to be a teacher someday. o.o

A HS diploma? :x Don't you have one? Since you're in an university? Psh, my commissions would be so many you'd make a lot of money business...

Ah. My high school goes from August-December then January-May. Yeah, finals are blessings and curses at the same time. >> I don't have mine for a few months thankfully but good luck on them! I hope you pass with flying colors. :D

I really want to learn Jap and French. ;___; Asshats, the lot of them.

Oh, I've already graduated from high school. It's just that there's a lot of people applying for jobs and sadly, I didn't make it. And I was going to work at Mcdonald's too. Shame.

Thanks for the encouragement! *crosses fingers*

;___; Aww. There is this one Japanese site that has helped me a bit:

http://maktos.jimmyseal.net/jip.html

As for French... erm... >< Any books you can rent from the nearest library? Japanese books have helped me but it's hard to teach French, I think. D: But it's very pretty~

Awww. You didn't get a job even at McDonald's?! It's about time then I start knocking people upside the head for you. <3

You're very welcome. :D I really hope you do succeed and triumph at them! What year are you in college? I'm a senior in high school. X//D Soon to move to real life.

I trust you a lot because you're nice and sincere and lots of other good things, so I'll let you know I live in IN aka the state of corn, more corn, and the occasional soybean field. XD

Don't know if they sendspace/megaupload links to the sound clips are even functioning, but I could probably renew them if anyone would want to hear me rambling. :3 If I can find them and/or inspiration to make new ones
