5 things made my day today
Things that made me happy today...
+ I walked into the pizza restaurant and watching this kid in high school walk by with his friends and have his pants hanging so low on his thighs, they didn't even cover his butt and think to myself...how does he do that?!
++ I washed and blow dried my hair and realized my hair trim does look so much better than before.
+++ Got my Federal income tax check, it was only $270 something but that more than I thought I was going to get. :)
++++ Watching Third Rock From the Sun today. It's an amazing show, the whole theme is freaking great! It's just funny to think about the way they analyze why humans do certain things and then of course that gets you thinking why we do that anyway (or maybe it's just me?). It was like when I took English Lit 2 at my university, I had to read this story about this native american tribe called The Nacirema. And the entire time I was thinking this is a joke right and in the end did my face drop when I really figured out they were implying about the tribe called The American. It was an eye opening experience...
+++++ Lastly, reading sophiamoon 's Trench Coat fic (over and over again) and
jumping_down 's 2nd installment of XXX fic!!
