Bright sun reflecting
stark white snow cover
Magnified light
Refracted
glistens windswept crystal
Frigid air brisk and clean
Cuts through like a scalpel
Drink it in and give thanks
Standing tall out here in the open
Filled to the brim and overflowing
Laughter bubbles up til I shake with it
Throw my head back
Struck with simplicity and awe
Fall down amid the white blanket
Evergreen waves hello
Crow calls a welcome
Inifinite blue expanse above
Sighs in pleasure at the attention of my gaze
Mystery hides in plain sight.
