things I love about France
being able to go to almost any store and buy a bottle of wine. drinking that bottle of wine on the beach at sundown watching the waves crash. the sea. watching little kids be even cuter because they're speaking French. pain au chocolat. patisseries. taking pictures of such amazing things. hearing French almost 24/7. exploring the city. seeing the beach every day. hearing 3-5 different languages being spoken in the courtyard. being "friends" with the security guards and the guy at the alimentation. having a cute (tiny) french dorm room. Seeing so many different cultures interact with each other. French accents. riding the bus to wherever just to see where it goes. getting a lot of exercise because we walk everywhere. having a bell ring just like from Grease. Hearing 'Il est neuf heures.' on the speaker in the morning before class. Figuring out how to do laundry, and realizing what a disaster it turned out to be. amazing views of the beach. hearing myself speak French. understanding what people are saying.
