OtC l 33.1 - Rest
It was cute and Nate thought anyone outside of the Scott family would throw-up at just how cute he, Haley, and Jamie were when they were all tired and passed out in bed. It started with Jamie wanted to nap with Nathan, both of Haley's boys out like a light. Haley wasn't about to take a nap on the couch. She simply climbed onto the bed and closed her eyes.
Unfortunately, with Nate making the team he wasn't home all week and on weekends he was either tired or running a mile a minute with Jamie and Haley and anyone else he could catch up with. A part of Nathan felt guilty when he was spending time with Jamie and not with Haley. This solved everything.
Family nap-time. Jamie was still small enough to fit in their bed and each person, adult and child, got his or her's own rest.
And it was cute. Sickeningly cute.
But, it was rest. And Nate needed rest. He hated wasting time on the weekends, time he could be using to spend time with the family he didn't see during the week.
This was the next best thing.
