The Major Sewing is DONE...
I am very (very) happy to announce that all of the major sewing projects for the wedding are officially complete!!!!
Johnny's best man suit:
Shasta's new jacket was made from this same pattern (in a much smaller size, of course.) I still haven't gotten her to model it for a picture for me, but will post as soon as I do. :P

Also, the lilacs in our backyard bloomed yesterday morning, and they smell soooo yummy. Spring has finally arrived!
According to the 10 day forecast (at least as of yesterday) it's supposed to be sunny on our wedding day, with a high of 62 -- a tiny bit chilly, still, for me, but I will TAKE IT. Everybody please keep your fingers crossed that we do in fact have sunny, non-rainy weather? :) ♥
Only one week to go now... Shasta's bachelor party is tonight. I get to go too. I think there will be a stripper. :P And I know there will be a naughty cake. (SHHHH!!!!!!) Should be super fun!
In the meantime I'm going to be obsessively making lists, schedules and itineraries to make sure that we pack everything we need to pack, finish all the final details of stuff we need to bring, ensure that all our guests are accounted for, have the transportation they need, and have the accommodations they need both while we're around and while we're at the B&B. We need to go grocery shopping and clean the house and set up the guest room and sofa bed... so much to take care of. Wish I didn't have to work, as I'd get all of this done in short order if I didn't have to be at the office for 8 hours a day. :P However, this past week and probably next week as well I've been getting to work an hour early so I can head home an hour early to get this kind of stuff done....
