Being annoying/I don't get smoothies

So ever since Marjan and her dad went back to Belgium, Mimu has finally really decided that we ought to be eating differently.

We make sure to have fruit with our toast for breakfast, and at night I make two big bowls of salad - which I've said previously, are so fucking delicious. I totally rock at salads!
Also I just have to say it's amazing how long I can make my vegetables last! one carrot, one cucumber, etc., last all week! I only use like a few very thin slices of carrots/cucumbers, then cut into small strips. It's plenty enough.

But anyway my whole point here is that I hear about people making smoothies, like it's the big thing now. I just don't see the point. I mean I really don't think anyone actually needs that many nutrients, for one thing, and if it isn't physically possible to consume that many foods at once, then you shouldn't TRY to.

I mean, if you have that much money to blow on that many vegetables going into (THROUGH) your body, fine, but like you're totally wasting all that fiber by mulching them, and I think I remember reading somewhere that a lot of nutrients ARE actually LOST by doing that.

So like wtf, just eat a fucking salad, or something.

I know people are like, I don't have the time so I just make a smoothie. So make it the night before, I dunno, *buy* a salad. It's just like, I mean you'd put a whole fucking apple, cucumber, carrot etc and like those things could last you all week if you'd make a salad. AND you'd feel full and satisfied with only having a small amount in one serving.

I mean, I haven't been able to eat a whole apple in years! Half an apple is plenty filling enough. And people who know me know I'm not anorexic or skinny by any means, I'm probably on the fatter end of healthy.

I just don't know, this is me being a dumb critic I guess but let's all just be a little more economic and realistic about our food here. If you can't normally stomach half a head of kale, a whole cucumber, a whole carrot, a whole apple, banana, and whatever else, it's probably not normal to be eating all of that mushed together in a smoothie.
