Chapter 17

How in hell do I end up in these neurotic life-threatening situations? It’s not normal right? People don’t usually end up pinned to a store window by a freakishly strong woman with a razorblade at their necks. Unless of course they’re horrible mean people who deserve it. But I was a good kid! I ate my green vegetables and my room was very neat. I didn’t even fight, except for the ever-so-often I’m-not-a-girl-take-your-tongue-out-my-throat argument. Maybe I’m old-fashioned that way, but I see absolutely no reason for karma to be a bitch and randomly come bite me in the ass. No reason at ALL! I’ve even been helping couples get together recently. I should be having some good karma right about now. So where is it? WHERE IS MY SHIPMENT OF GOOD KARMA? It’s probably hiding in the clouds sipping chamomile tea with his best friend Buddha. How dare the greater forces abandon me in my time of need?

“You tried to take my Seo Jin away from me. You’re going to pay the price!” The girl growled passionately, her humongous nostrils standing at attention.

“Aw hell.” I muttered. “Listen, you crazy freakishly strong psychopathic bitch! I’m a man! And what’s more than that I’m GAY! So I have no interest in Seo Jin whatsoever!”

“Shut up!” She hissed evilly exhaling. The air coming out of her nose blew at me with a supermodel-photo-shoot-hair-inducing wind. At least I’ll look good in my last moments. “Don’t lie to me, pretty face. I know all your petty tricks! You won’t fool me!”

“Big Nose Caterpillar, I thought I asked you to stop stalking me.” Seo Jin sighed, stepping out of the Starbucks with her coat and hat on.

“Who are you?” The girl snapped at my co-worker, whooshing her huge nose in her direction and creating a little breeze.

“You stalk me for three years and you can’t even recognize me without any make-up on?!” Seo Jin gasped indignantly. “I’m SO insulted. To think I actually took out a restraining order on you!”

“Seo Jin? I-I-I… You’re so neat and pretty.” Big Nose gasped in awe. “Please take me back! I will cherish you more than SHE ever will.” She jerked her head in my direction.

“Like I’ll believe that! At least SHE recognized me right away.” Seo Jin harrumphed.

“You’re doing it on purpose aren’t you? I’m a guy! Namja! Un garcon! El muchacho!” I shouted at them.

“Oh, so now she’s multilingual too?!” Seo Jin’s stalker grumbled angrily moving the weapon closer to my face. “I wonder how pretty she’ll be with a scar from here… to here.” She traced a line from under my left eye to my lip with her finger.

“HE! How pretty HE’ll be with a scar from- Wait, WOAH!” I gasped trying to back further away from her razorblade, and shrink into the window. “GET THAT THING AWAY FROM ME! You don’t want to hurt this face!”

“Seriously.” Seo Jin nodded solemnly. “Damaging a face THAT pretty could have serious repercussions.”

Her stalker’s nostrils flared dangerously. “Seo Jin you’re not helping!” I squeaked, shrinking back from the weapon.

“Sorry.” She sighed sadly.

“Would you just tell her I’m a guy?!” I shrieked as her stalked raised her blade holding hand and brought it down slowly closer to my face, her eyes widening in psychopathic glee.

“Right! Big Nose, Joongie is a guy and therefore not in my field of interest, if you know what I mean.” Seo Jin beamed at me, proud of herself.

Her stalker stopped trying to hurt my perfect face, and turned to Seo Jin. “She’s a HE?” She shrieked, flailing the razorblade around like it was nobody’s business.

“I told you six times!” I sighed exasperatedly. “I mean it’s pretty obvious I’m a guy! I’m well-equipped down there!”

Eunhyuk suddenly burst out of the store. “Will you keep the dramatic life-threatening scenario down? The customers are complaining!” He made as if to leave, but turned to face me first. “And nobody cares about your junk Joongie.” He went back into the Starbucks, slamming the door behind him.

“WOULD YOU CALL THE POLICE AT LEAST?” I yelled after him.

“What? So you switched to androgynous men without telling me?” The big nosed girl continued as if nothing had happened.

“No. Guys are icky.” Seo Jin pouted, disgusted by the very idea of males.

“HEY!”

There was a loud screeching noise and a flash of red, and Yunho’s car drove into the parking lot, swivelled on itself until the driver’s door was facing us. He threw the door open and stepped out of the car, marching angrily towards us. “What’s going on here?” He barked angrily, and I silently thanked God for his existence.

“I was just telling Big Nose that I had no interest in Jaejoong, because he is of the male persuasion.” Seo Jin informed him.

“Oh.” He looked around, confused. “Then why is she holding a knife to his face?”

“Don’t analyze the situation! Just help me!” I shouted at him.

“But you said I should always assess what’s going on before I randomly barge in.” I would’ve punched him if I wasn’t pinned to the window, and being threatened within an inch of my life.

“I’m Han Seo Jin by the way, Jaejoong’s co-worker.” Seo Jin outstretched her hand and Yunho took it.

“Pleased to meet you, I’m Jung Yunho.” They shook hands and smiled formally at each other.

“Nice to meet you! Joongie’s been talking about you non-stop it’s great to finally meet you in person.” Seo Jin giggled flirting. What the hell?

“Likewise.” Yunho smiled politely.

“Joongie, you never told me how hot your boyfriend was.” She pouted in my direction.

“Can you two do this when I’m not being threatened at knife point here?” I cried.

“Yeah! I’m here too, you know!” Big Nose huffed. “And don’t tell me you’re not interested! You kissed him the other day! WITH TONGUE! I saw it!” She screamed.

Yunho’s face when she said that was PRICELESS. It became an awe-inspiring shade of red, and his eyes were bugging out of their sockets. “You did WHAT?!” He shrieked at Seo Jin, sending lightning bolts through his eyes.

“Hey, don’t blame me for kissing him; blame him for kissing me back.” Seo Jin smirked.

“You kissed her back?” Yunho turned to me with his best kicked puppy look.

“No, I did not! She’s delusional.” I cried. “Can we discuss this later, please?”

“Um… I definitely felt some action.” Seo Jin pursed her lips. “It’s okay, though. I’m a great kisser, probably much better than you. It’s hard to resist me.”

“Jae…” Yunho looked like he was about to cry. “Is she really a better kisser than me?”

“Don’t listen to her! I didn’t kiss her back, she’s just saying that to boost her already overinflated ego.” I huffed unhappily. “You’re definitely the better kisser.”

“Hah!” He stuck his tongue out at Seo Jin.

“He’s OBVIOUSLY lying! I bet I’m a WAY better kisser than you.” She huffed.

“NO! I’m the best kisser!” Eunhyuk threw himself out the door, puckering his lips in my direction. “And you can tell I’m mature, because I have a moustache.” He pointed at the squiggly line he’d drawn on his upper-lip. I slapped my hand to my face.

“Eunhyuk, what the hell are you doing here?” I groaned.

“Oh, so YOU can have fun, but I have to stay inside and serve customers?” He scoffed, crossing his arms over his chest. “That’s so not fair.”

“You’re supposed to be working, you stupid fish.” Seo Jin rolled her eyes.

“And do I look like I’m having fun?” I pointed to the razorblade at my neck.

“Well it looks like more fun than-” Eunhyuk’s beady eyes landed on Yunho. “Why, hello there.” He flitted over to his side, batting his stupid ass eyelashes at him. “I’m Eunhyuk, the hottest man alive.”

“Uh… Hi. I’m-”

“Turned on and totally interested? I know.” Eunhyuk smiled, latching himself onto my Yunho. “So, are you free this Friday?”

“STOP HITTING ON MY BOYFRIEND!” I screamed at my stupid co-worker.

“Boyfriend?” Yunho and Eunhyuk said simultaneously, except Yunho said it with a goofy smile and Eunhyuk with an evil scowl.

“WHY ARE YOU ALL IGNORING ME?!?!” Big Nose shrieked angrily.

“Yeah!” Seo Jin scoffed. “We were discussing who the better kisser was.”

“Well it’s obviously me.” Eunhyuk snickered.

“Excuse me, sir!” An old man came out of the coffee shop. “I’m waiting for my latte!”

“Can’t you see I’m in the process of stealing Joongie’s boyfriend?” Eunhyuk rolled his eyes.

“HEY!” I struggled against Big Nose.

“I don’t care! I NEED MY JAVA!” The old man grabbed Eunhyuk’s arm and pulled him back into the shop.

“WAIT FOR ME MY LOOOOOVE!” Eunhyuk shouted, reaching for Yunho as he was dragged away.

Yunho laughed, but shut up when he saw me glaring at him.

“Anyway!” Seo Jin sighed exasperatedly. “I was saying that I bet I’m a WAY better kisser than you!” She crossed her arms over her chest.

“Huh? Oh… You’re ON!” Yunho shouted. They both glared at each other in a threatening competitive demeanour. “I already won anyway. Jae thinks I’m a better kisser than you.”

“That’s cheating! He’s totally biased by his undying love for you. We need someone totally unbiased. Like Big Nose over there.” Seo Jin smiled evilly.

“How is Big Nose not biased? She’s been stalking you for three years!”

“Why are you two even discussing this? Just push her to the ground and save me already!” I screamed at them, but they ignored me.

“That’s just because she’s attracted to people who remain calm in any situation. If I freaked out she’d stop liking me.” Seo Jin explained.

“That doesn’t make any sense.” Yunho rolled his eyes at her.

“Oh yeah? Watch this.” She turned to the ignored crazy stalker chick. “OH MY GOD! BIG NOSE WHAT ARE YOU DOIIIIIIINNNNNGGG?!?!?! TAKE THAT KNIFE AWAY FROM MY FRIEND! ARE YOU CRAZY?! PLEASE DON’T DO IT! WHYYYYYY? WHYYYYYYYY BIG NOSE?” Seo Jin fell to her knees and fake-sobbed into her hands. Yunho and I shared a slightly freaked out glance.

Big Nose took a small step away from me. “I suddenly feel my attraction to you fading. That’s odd.” She said, and her nose seemed to get a bit smaller.

“See?” Seo Jin exclaimed, pushing herself up. “And I get to go FIRST!” She threw herself at Big Nose and she spread her arms wide, dropping the weapon. Seo Jin reached her and pushed her to the floor.

Yunho ran up to me and picked me up princess-style. “Are you okay, Jae?”

“What the hell was that?” I growled at him.

“Seo Jin called me.” Yunho smiled sheepishly at me. “We planned this, except for your friend’s random outburst.”

“I’m so going to punch that little-” I grumbled angrily.

“You forgot your cellphone in your apron.” Seo Jin rolled her eyes, and chucked my phone at me. Then, she turned back to Big Nose. “And as for you! I’m dating someone seriously now. And I know I am the best kiss you’ve ever had, and I’m so perfect and amazing and gorgeous and awesome and sexy and beautiful-”

“Get on with it!” Yunho and I groaned simultaneously.

“BUT you will find someone else, someone who will find you truly beautiful inside and out. And when that day comes I hope you’ll be really and truly happy.”

Big Nose looked up at her with teary eyes, and her nose didn’t seem so big anymore. “You really think so?” She sobbed.

“I know so.” Seo Jin nodded helping her up. Big Nose hugged Seo Jin platonically.

“Thank you… I have hope now.”

The heartfelt moment was ruined when a loud screech was heard for the second time that night, and my sister’s crappy Toyota parked right next to my boyfriend’s- well, soon to be anyway- Ferrari. It looked even shabbier by comparison. Su Jin stomped out of the shitty car to her girlfriend. “Where’s the bitch?!” She screeched at the hugging lesbians. “Are you the bitch?!” She screamed at Big Nose.

“Su Jin, it’s okay, I was just-”

“EXCUSE ME!” Su Jin pulled on Big Nose’s shoulder, until she let go of Seo Jin. “That’s my girlfriend you’re hugging HOEBAG!”

“Noona, it’s over.” I started to say, but my sister shot me an evil glare, and I decided to shut up.

“SO WHY ARE YOU HUGGING MY-” Seo Jin shut my sister up by slamming her lips against hers. Ugh, girl on girl is weird.

“Jinnie, baby, don’t get angry. It was a good-bye hug.” She smiled at my sister. “You know you’re the only one for me.”

“Ew.” I twisted my lips in disgust at the gross cheesiness.

Yunho nodded, and carried me all the way to his car. He slid me into the passenger seat, pressing a soft kiss against my lips before going over to the driver’s side. The Jins hugged each other grossly for a while before climbing into my sister’s ugly car. Maybe I’ve been living with Yunho too long, I can’t remember how expensive regular things are.

“They really look happy together.” I sighed, pouting. “It’s gross.”

Yunho laughed, and ruffled my hair. “So, I’m your boyfriend now, huh?” He smiled goofily as the car engine purred to life and we drove off towards my parents’ house.

“I don’t know. It looked like you were about to run away with Eunhyuk back there.” I crossed my arms over my chest, and stared angrily out the window. “Maybe you don’t want to go out with me anymore. You did like to stare at fish when we were kids.” I huffed.

“Aww, Boo. Are you jealous?” He smirked happily. He reached over and wrapped his arm around my shoulder and pulled me down to kiss the top of my head. “You know you’re the only one for me.” He laughed, and turned right onto the highway.

“I’m not jealous.” I pouted. “And you don’t need to stick to me, because we live together. You can do what you want.”

Yunho turned the steering wheel sharply, and the car swerved onto the shoulder. He stopped the car and parked it. Clicking his seatbelt free, he threw open the door and stomped out of the car. What the hell? I pushed open my door, and his hands shot in, pushing mine away from my seatbelt. He undid it himself and pulled me out of the car, and pushed me on the vehicle, slamming the door close behind me.

“What? What are you doing?” I gasped, and he crushed his lips against mine. My heart started beating furiously in my chest as his arms wrapped around my waist. I was sandwich between the cold metal of the car and his warmth. He turned his head a bit to the left, gently nudging my lips apart, slipping his tongue in, and massaging mine gently. I pressed myself closer to him, sucking a bit on his tongue, letting my teeth graze against the small pink muscle. He moaned, low and guttural, into my mouth. I grabbed the flaps of his jacket, drawing him nearer to me. His arms wrapped tighter around my waist, and he stepped forward, pressing me further into the car. We broke the kiss, both breathing heavily. “Wow. What brought that on?” I gasped.

Yunho’s lips trailed down to my chin, and started biting gently up and down my jawline. I hummed, low as tingles started running over my skin. “You’re stupidity.” He growled. He moved his lips lower, and started nibbling excitingly down my neck. “I’m not sticking to you because you’re living with me. Idiot.” He moved his face up and stared at me straight in the eyes. “I’m here because I love you. Just you.” He leaned in until our foreheads were touching. “You don’t have to worry about me ever leaving you for anyone else.”

I felt my lips stretch into a smile. This guy, I could be with forever. “I trust you.” I whispered. Yunho smiled goofily, wrapping his arms tighter around me. “I’m happy you’re my boyfriend.”

“Hee…” Yunho smirked happily, and pressed a soft kiss to my lips. “You said I’m your boyfriend.” He giggled stupidly. His lips pressed to my neck, moving lower and lower. His hands went up to the top of my jacket, and started to pull down the zipper.

“Mm-hmm.” I laughed. “That means you can’t look at Eunhyuk anymore.” I added sternly.

“Oh, darn.” Yunho chuckled. “And here I was gunning for a threesome.” He slipped his hands inside my jacket, and slid them up the back of my shirt. “You look so sexy in this shirt.” He moaned, undoing the first two buttons with his teeth.

“Now?” I giggled. “It’s cold.”

“I’ve been holding back for two days. Now.” He nodded, pulling me closer to him, so he could open the backdoor.

And then my cellphone vibrated, ruining the perfect moment. Yunho groaned, moving away from me as I pulled the phone out of my pocket and answered it. “Hey, Noona.” I smiled into the phone, watching Yunho kick an innocent tree on the side of the road. “What’s up?”

“WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU?!” Jae Min and Jae Hwa’s voices screeched on the other end of the line.

“We’re on the high-way now.” I told them, motioning to Yunho to stop destroying the tiny tree, and get back behind the wheel of his car.

“I don’t hear Yunho’s uselessly expensive engine in the background.” Eco-warrior Jae Min muttered into the phone. “HEY! I’m talking to him, no- Don’t!”

“Joongie, you better get you and your boyfriend’s ass here quickly. Dad locked Su Jin out.” Jae Hwa groaned into the phone. “He’s such a drama queen.”

“Are you talking to Jaejoong Hyung?” Dae Hyun’s voice chirped. “I want to talk to him! JAEJOONG HYUUUUUNG!”

“Yah! Dae Hyun-ah! If you don’t be quiet, I won’t give you any chocolate.” My sister scolded her son.

“Is Yunho Hyung coming too?” The kid asked.

“He won’t come if you don’t sit quietly on the couch and behave.” She threatened. “Ugh, anyway, it’s freezing outside, and you know how easily Su Jin catches colds.”

“Where’s Seo Jin?” I asked her as Yunho opened the door for me to get in. He was still pouting unhappily, so I kissed his cheek, before sliding into the seat. He smiled a bit.

“Oh she’s inside, charming Mom. Dad really likes her.” She sighed. “She’s a real player. Su Jin really knows how to pick ‘em.”

“She’s not worried about her girlfriend, freezing outside?” I groaned. Yunho turned on the engine and started driving off into the highway. “Seo Jin is so inconsiderate.”

“Oh no, she’s been trying to convince our crazy ass parents to let her go out and join her girlfriend, but Dad’s been changing the subject adamantly.”

“Alright, we’re almost there. I’ll get Dad to calm down.” I sighed and closed the phone. “Are you still mad?” I batted my eyelashes at Yunho.

“Not at you.” He pouted. “Holding back for two days, getting interrupted by stupid sisters, can’t believe this, stupid…” Yunho muttered under his breath.

“Don’t be mad.” I leaned over and kissed his earlobe. “We’ll get in, get out, and go home, have a nice looooong bath.” I smiled devilishly.

“I’ve told you I loved you, right?” He smiled brightly at me.

“Multiple times.” I laughed. “Oh, and I wanted to tell you this morning-” I started to say, but he parked the car in front of my house. Su Jin’s slight silhouette was shivering on the steps.

“What, Boo?”

“Never mind, I’ll tell you later.” We climbed out of the car and walked up to my poor sister. “What’s up, Su Jin.”

“I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I’m c-c-c-c-c-c-cold.” She stuttered, hugging me for warmth. “H-h-h-h-h-h-hi Y-y-y-y-y-y-y-yunho.”

“Hey, Su Jin-ah.” Yunho smiled awkwardly at my sister.

I rang the doorbell, and the door was thrown open. My dad tackled me with a hug, and I almost fell over. “JAEJOONGIE! You’re back! MY SON!” He hugged me tightly. “I missed you so much. Your mother wouldn’t let me come visit.”

“I missed you too, Dad.” I laughed. “You look good.”

“Of course I do. Where do you think you got your genes? From your mother? HAH!” He scoffed. He seemed to suddenly notice Yunho’s presence. “Ah, you’re here too.” He glared at my boyfriend. Hihihi, Yunho’s my boyfriend.

Yunho smirked. “I’m happy to see you too, Father-in-law.”

A smile broke on my dad’s face, and he stretched his arms out. “Come here you!” He and Yunho laughed and hugged. “You better be treating my son right!” They chuckled. Su Jin and I shared an annoyed glance.

“Wouldn’t dream of treating him any other way.” Yunho smiled.

“Okay, if you’re both done bonding, Su Jin and I would like to go in from the freezing cold.” I told them, and my sister nodded, shivering.

“Fine.” My dad glared at his daughter. “I think you’ve learned your lesson.” He huffed, leading the way into the house.

We stepped inside, and slipped off our shoes. I walked into the living room and was greeted by a threatening evil wall of women. I see why Dad freaks out a lot. “A week.” Su Min, one of the twins, pouted.

“A whole week.” Su Myeong, the other twin, added.

“The whole time we waited by the phone.” Jae Min glared.

“You don’t call.” Jae Hwa crossed her arms over her chest.

“You don’t write.” Sung Mi sighed.

“You don’t visit.” Su Yun growled.

“You never just drop by for a cup of coffee.” Hana shook her head.

“Shame on you, Joongie.” My mom scolded me. “I thought you were a good boy.”

“You know what this means don’t you.” Jae Hwa glared threateningly.

“Oh no, you don’t mean…” I gasped.

“Yes.” Su Min said.

“We mean.” Su Myeong nodded.

“TICKLE FIGHT!” They all screamed and attacked me.

“NO! You horrible people!” I laughed as I was tickled within an inch of my death.

“Jaejoong Hyung is here! I want to tickle him too!” Dae Hyun added himself to the pile of women, whose evil hands I was trying to avoid.

“Okay… Okay!... I’m sorry!... I’m sorry!... “ I gasped, holding onto my sides. “Oh God, stop it!”

My sisters, and mom got off me, but Dae Hyun sat on my tummy, trying to tickle me with his teeny tiny hands. “Haha! I win!” He gloated.

I smiled evilly. “Oh yeah? What if I… tackle you!” I pushed him to the floor, making sure my hand was behind his head to avoid his mom trying to mutilate me.

“Hihihihi, you cheated!” He gasped, giggling hysterically as I tickled him. “Hyung… Hyung is a cheater!”

“What? What did you call your Hyung?” I laughed, trying to keep a serious face.

“A… hihihi” Dae Hyun was laughing so hard he couldn’t breathe. I tickled under his armpits and his belly, and he giggled crazily. His squinted eyes spotted Yunho standing behind me, and he reached towards him with one hand. “Yu- Yunho Hyung!” He laughed breathlessly. “H-h-help!”

“Jaejoongie, don’t be mean to your nephew.” Yunho kneeled behind me and started tickling me himself.

“HEY!” I folded in half, as his fingers pressed into my waist. “S-Stop!”

“HAHA!” Dae Hyun joined Yunho.

We were a pile of tickling retards on the floor for about half-an-hour, until my mom stomped over and smacked us all on the forehead. “Like a bunch of little children.” She huffed. “Jaejoong, go bring the tea and cookies from the kitchen.” She ordered me. “Yunho you help.”

“Can I help?” Dae Hyun asked his grandma.

“You don’t need to help sweetie. Let the big boys handle it.” She told him sweetly, picking him up off the floor, and seating him on her arm.

“I’m a big boy too.” Dae Hyun pouted.

“I know, Hyunnie. If you come with grandma, you’ll get a yummy chocolate.” She smiled at the spoiled prat in her arms.

“Okay, I’ll come with you.” He sighed, like he was doing her a big favour.

“Ooh, you cute boy. Where did you get that face from?” My mom laughed, pinching his nose.

“Jaejoong Hyung gave it to me.”

“And he doesn’t even appreciate it.” I huffed, and pushed myself off the floor, pulling Yunho up behind me. “Come on; let’s go get tea and cookies.”

We walked to the kitchen. Before we could even make it to the tea and cookies on the table, Yunho grabbed my hips, turned me around, and pushed me up against the counter. “How about we forget the tea and cookies?” He wagged his eyebrows at me.

“Do you really want my mom to walk in on us?” I curled my lip in disgust. “Or worse! Dae Hyun!”

“Damn.”

“Don’t worry we’ll have plenty of time when we go home.” I pecked his cheek, and he leaned in for a real kiss.

“Hey, before I forget,” He pulled back a little bit. “What were you going to tell me this morning?”

“Oh God.” I sighed, looking around and making sure there was nothing around to interrupt me. “Okay… Come closer.” I whispered.

“What?” He brought his ear closer to my lips. “Is it top secret?”

“Shh!” I grabbed his face and kissed his cheek. “I’m only going to say it once okay? If you don’t hear it I won’t say it again.”

“Stop being a tease and say it already.” He bit my lower lip, and I giggled. “Come on, before your sisters barge in.”

“Okay, okay.” I pressed my lips to his ear. “Just once.”

“Jae…” He growled threateningly/seductively.
"..."
"Tell me."
I sighed and leaned really close to his ear.

“I love you.”

**Yay! I just died a little. Okay! so some ppl have been telling me that my title is confusing, and so i will take this time (which is money, so I'm actually going broke-er for you ppl) to explain the point of Stop Crumbling the Cookie. And I can't use hand gestures while typing so bear with me. Basically, I got it form the Jim Carrey movie, Bruce Almighty, where he always goes, 'and that's the way the cookie crumbles', which i think means that's how it is explained. and since jj spends most of my fic denying any rational explanation to his feelings, i feel it fits with his personality :D so there you have it! Thanx for reading :D Enjoooy!**
