NYCC
So I didn't make it down to the New York Comic Con this past weekend. I had a fun time last year but I didn't know if I would this year and then as it turns out that weekend ended up full of other obligations.
However, due to work (and irony), Angel ended up down there. And he was nice enough to pick me up a few things. He had asked if I was looking for anything in particular and I just said if you see anything cool either Joss or Doctor Who related keep me in mind.
I had lovely bag goodies delivered to me that included a Serenity T-shirt, a Doctor Who T-shirt, a iron-on patch of a Browncoats insignia and one of Jem!!! (She's Truly Outrageous you know!!!) And a lovely little charm necklace that I suspect is supposed to say "Serentiy" or "Firefly" but when showing it to my lovely Roommate who can read Chinese (how handy is that) she says it 'kinda' says that but closer to 'grass' and that mostly it was a made up word.
Still between that and the random photos he emailed me through out the day it was almost as if I was there.
