Columbus Who?
Wild and crazy weekend plans had I.
Friday night was spent with my lovely roommate going grocery shopping (wild) and cleaning up all the larp crap and reorganizing the closet in her room (crazy)
Yes. We are rebels.
Upside I can now open the closet door without fear of avalanche and there is still plenty of space in there.
Saturday I went to my sister in law's baby shower. Much like a wedding shower the excitement knows no bounds. Instead of watching a bride to be open a set of forks and towels and feigning excitement now I get to watch with amazement that if once unwraps a shirt but in miniature form one can watch a room of women go "awwwww"
There's no holding back when a pair of baby size socks are held up.
It's' a good thing that my cousin River appreciates my sense of humor. And that we sat near the back. :)
Later that evening Wes, Xander, and Willow came over to hang out. Sadly we did not play Rockband.
On Sunday Xander, Willow and I went to visit Buffy's new mansion that she's renting for the year. Now when I go visit I can have a bed on a whole different floor to sleep on instead of kicking Beanz out of her bed.
Got to visit with plenty of people I haven't seen in a while. By the end of evening it was us, Riley, Buffy, her bro & sis in law, and hubby sitting by a bonfire at night telling stories and drinking hot chocolate and beer (well not both)
A good time was had. But unfortunately as my work doesn't believe in this Columbus guy I had to trek my butt on back home for work Monday. But it was nice having the option to crash in a ready made bed with mints on the pillows (well, there were mints before the gaggle of kids running through the house earlier in the day got to them) :)
