Fun with Roommate!

Roommate and I got into a 'fight' last night it was fun! :)

Roommate: "Gah! I've gained weight since I've moved in with you!"
Me: "What do you want from me? I've lost weight since you moved in!"
RM: "Well that's because I won't let you eat processed food!"
Me: "Exactly, you do the cooking, so how is this my fault!??!"

In her defense 1) She's exaggerating as apparently (I'll get back to this in a second) we end up walking around in our underwear a lot and I think she looks good & 2) She was on crutches for a bit so she hasn't gotten back into her exercise routine. Which this weekend should take care of assuming she doesn't over do it on her foot.

In my defense 1) I've been stressed and I don't eat much when stressed & 2) she is indeed keeping me away from processed foods. I've had a box of Ring Dings (LOVE THEM) in my fridge since the beginning of July and I've only eaten about half of them. Every time I consider having one she gives me a Stare of HateTM and makes me something else to eat. Thus my introduction to Cake in a Cup! :)

Back to the walking around in our underwear... it's been a hot humid Summer and we both get out of work clothes when we get home. So sometimes we'll walk around in our Sports bras to cool off or before changing or showering. This almost lent to a funny show for Xander when got to my house one day before I got home from work. He walked in on Roommate who was crawling around on the ground chasing after Martini and she was surprised to see him staring at her trying not to judge her for crawling after the cat (he was soooo judging!). I know this because I got a text as I was driving home that said "Oh thank god I was at least wearing a shirt, Xander just walked in I thought it was you!" I responded with "he would have enjoyed the show!" and indeed he would have as he now just assumes we always walk around in our underwear all the time having pillow fights. Not surprisingly he has a whole scenario in his head.

Oh yeah Xander-kitty clearly thinks he's managed to outsmart me. He was hiding yesterday morning and again I got home last night from work and then from my D&D game. He only hopped on the bed when I was in it with the lights off clearly watching TV. He also ran off again this morning. So right now he pretty much believes he's managed to get away from and is in slight worry that when I do catch him it will be serious medication "Go time!"

He's obviously not believing me when I said no more antibiotics. However I will get him tonight to give him some IV fluids. I let him get away with it last night as he was drinking plenty and he deserved a break.
