Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock!!
Yes, that is what I did yesterday.
Went over to Warren's and we played co-op mode on Guitar Hero 3. We finished the game in only a few hours and got 5 stars on all but 8 of the 44 songs. We'll have to go back and finish it proper.
It was a lot of fun and very little swearing or punching this time. Though I did let out string of obscenities when on the first run through of "Hit me with your Best shot" we almost made it through the song perfect until I screwed up on one of my last notes. On the upside Kaylee only got hear us play each song only once so it was less pain this time around for her.
We even made it through the bonus song "Through the Fire & the Flame" which is chaos incarnate. I know we were both playing it on medium but the fact that we made it through was a feat I don't think we could ever duplicated. Upon completion of the song we both raised our arms up in the air in amazement and I shouted "Let's never play that song again". Kaylee started cracking up - though she did agree.
Chaos.
Incarnate.
And a lot of fun. Nice way to spend a Monday for certain.
And on the kitty front. I got the results back from Xander-kitty's blood work. He's kidney levels are down from the last two times I brought him in. Which is an improvement. There doesn't seem to be (at this time) any further deterioration. So for now it's back to crossed fingers and taking care of my boy in hopes that he will continue in his happy spoiled life.
