today was my first day at the new internship. it was also ice cream social day at the magazine. the people are nice, the work seems interesting enough. i live in an apartment that's a 20-minute train ride from downtown d.c. there's a bike/jogging path down the street that also goes downtown. the guy i'm living with is letting me stay for "a fraction of the rent," whatever that means. i just really need to get used to this new sleep schedule.
