Ok, so maybe one glass of wine had a little to do with my rant
I just emailed P&G, the makers of tampax tampons, never piss off a woman with bitchin cramps and the feeling of bleeding to death ...
I am emailing regarding your new tampax cardboard. Quite basically - they suck! In our home there are three of us that use tampax, myself and my two older teenage daughters, and it's the only tampon we've all ever used and always been happy with. Now you've changed them to this cardboard crap, they're smaller, shorter, don't expand as wide so don't work as well, they're less absorbant and the packaging is a pain in the ass to get into and the applicator is even more fiddly. Why couldn't you just leave alone something that worked just great already. It's that bad that my 17 year old daughter and I are now looking for a new brand to try that's equivalent in style, shape and work the same way your original did. Ever hear of not messing with a good thing? Thanks a whole bunch! from 3 very disgruntled formerly satisfied tampax consumers.
