Monkey Magic was a very important part of my childhood, and I am usually against revamping things like this for a younger audience - I mean, just look what they did to Astroboy! Although I suppose, to be fair, it is based on the 'Journey to the West' folklore, although all the elements of the tv show are there - gold headband, Monkey riding a cloud, etc. The Beeb are using this for their Olympic coverage, and the animation is very good. I just don't know yet...
