Jun growled and kicked his shoes off. He undone his tie and threw it across the room.

“Sho!” He yelled, kicking at the table that was in his path to his bedroom.

“Yes, boss?”

“Get me something to eat. I’m starving.”

“Yes boss, I’ll have it brought to your room.” Sho bowed and shrunk back into the shadows to find Ohno.

Jun sighed when he reached his room, pulling his suit jacket off and throwing it carelessly onto the floor, before throwing himself on his bed.

The business meeting with the other Yakuza clans had gone well, and he was still the top of the food chain. However, the snivelling leader of the KAT group was starting to get on his nerves.

He was also angry as there was a lot of fights happening on his territory. According to his sources, there was one man constantly getting into fights, taking the losers money once he had beat them. He was causing a nuisance, which is something Jun didn’t want.
But not only was he irritating Jun by fighting in his area, no one knew who this young man was, or where to find him.

About half an hour later, Sho and Ohno appeared at his door with his dinner, and left him to eat his meal alone.
When Jun was in this kind of mood, his followers knew not to bother him.

The next morning, Jun entered the main dining hall for breakfast, and his followers all stood up and bowed to him as he entered.
He waved a hand dismissively, telling them to sit down and enjoy their meal.

“Sho,” Jun said, leaning towards the man, “I want to get a dog,”

“A dog?” Sho said, raising his eyebrows.

“Mm. A puppy. It will be a nice change to all you men. Something cute and fluffy would be nice.” He mused.

Sho smiled and nodded, “Yes boss. But are you sure? It will take a lot of work, and would mess everywhere, and would need to be walked and trained..”

Jun nodded, “Mmm. Well, that would be your job, I suppose.”

“Ah.. Boss, I don’t really like dogs all that much,”

“Oh. Well, I’ll be thinking about it, anyway,”

Sho nodded and served his boss some breakfast.

There was a loud crash and Jun looked sharply towards the door, as all of the followers jumped to their feet with angry yells.

They sat down when they saw Nino march in, dragging a man by the back of his shirt.

“N.. No, please, I don’t… It wasn’t my fault, I…”

“Boss!” Nino said, throwing the trembling man down at Jun’s feet, “I found this stray sleeping in the front,”

Jun looked down at the man and nudged him with his foot.

“Sit up, boy,”

The man sat up, keeping his eyes glued on the floor.
Jun tilted his head to the side and reached out, touching the mans bloodied face.

“Who hit you?”

“A group of men…. They grabbed me and stole everything and then kicked me and punched me. I don’t remember anything else..”

“What’s your name?” Jun asked, narrowing his eyes.

“I.. I don’t remember..”

Jun snorted and Sho laughed.

“Check his pockets,” Sho nodded at Nino, who instantly went through the mans pockets, looking for some sort of Identification.

“Nothing.. Oh wait..” He pulled out a small card, with the mans picture printed across the front.

“Not a great picture, stray,” He laughed, passing the card to his boss.

“Aiba Masaki..” Jun hummed, “Where do you live?”

“I.. I don’t know.. I don’t remember anything.. They hit me so hard!” The man said, tears starting to fall down his swollen cheeks.

Jun hummed and turned to Sho, “Well, it looks like I’ve just adopted a stray puppy,” He said, climbing to his feet.

“Fix him up,” Jun said, waving his had at Aiba and stalking majestically from the room.

“Boss,” Sho said in acknowledgement. He gestured for Ohno and Nino to help him to his feet. “Get him up and bring him to the other room. We’ll sort him out in there,”

---

Aiba trembled and winced as Sho cleaned up his face. He received a sharp slap to the back of his head from Nino, who was watching over him closely.

“Hold still, how else are we supposed to clean you up?”

“Sorry,” Aiba whimpered.

Ohno leaned in close to Aiba’s face, “I hope, for your sake, that you aren’t lying. Because if any of them find out that you’re a spy or something, nothing will be able to stop them from tearing you into pieces,”

He was not unkind when he said this, which shocked Aiba.

“You’re too soft, Satoshi,” Nino said, rolling his eyes and pulling Ohno away.

“I just don’t like violence,” Ohno countered.

“Then why are you in the Yakuza?”

“Because of you,” Ohno mumbled, with a shy smile, “Besides, I just cook. I don’t actually do anything,”

Nino smiled and slid an arm around his waist, kissing his cheek silently.

Aiba just stared at them in shock.

“Got a problem?” Sho muttered, wiping at his face particularly hard.

“N.. No.. I.. No,” Aiba said, lowering his eyes.

After they had cleaned him up, Nino lead Aiba to his new room.

“Usually, only the higher ups stay in this corridor, with the boss,” Nino said, “But the boss and Sho want to keep an eye on you, so you’re in the room in between them.”

“There is a room for everyone?” Aiba gasped, “I know the place is huge, but I didn’t think it was that big!”

“Well, not everyone lives here, ya know. A lot of the members have their own families and things,” Nino smirked, “But they live very close, so don’t get any funny ideas,”

Nino pushed Aiba towards a door. “You have to greet the boss, and then I’ll put you in your room,” He said.

He knelt on the floor next to the door and knocked, before sliding it open.

“Boss,” He said, bowing, “The stray is all cleaned up,”

“Send him in. You can go on your way, Nino,” Jun called from inside.

“Yes, boss,” Nino got to his feet and pushed Aiba inside, closing the door.

“You look much better now, puppy,” Jun said with a smile, gesturing for Aiba to sit down.

“Th.. Thank you..?”

“Matsumoto Jun. Don’t call me boss, I haven’t adopted you into the group,” Jun said with a smirk, “I’ve adopted you as my new dog until I can figure out what to do with you. Got it?”

“Y.. Yes, Matsumoto-san,” Aiba replied nervously sitting down on his knees across from Jun.

“Don’t be so nervous, I’m not going to hurt you,” Jun laughed, “Tell me what you remember,”

Aiba squeezed his eyes closed, trying to remember anything about himself.

“I was walking.. It was dark.. And a group of men surrounded me. They were pushing me and threatening me.. And then one of them hit me.. And then they all hit me.. And then I woke up here,” He said slowly.

Jun leant forwards and took Aiba’s hands, making him jump. “You obviously gave quite a fight,” He said, lifting the hand up to examine the split and bruised knuckles.

“I don’t remember,”

“Well, by the state of your knuckles, you obviously fought back,” Jun said, dropping the hand.

He leant back with a small smirk on his face. “Your room is next to mine, on the left as you leave. Stay in there until Sho calls you for dinner. I have some business to take care of, so you will join me in here for dinner this evening. Leave now,”

Aiba nodded and bowed, getting to his feet and heading for his own room.

“And puppy? If I find out that you are lying.. All hell will break loose,” Jun said as Aiba was in the doorway.

“I’m not lying, Matsumoto-san,” He said softly, to which Jun nodded. He bowed again and left the room, shutting the door behind him.

Jun hummed as he watched Aiba close the door, “This could get interesting,” He mumbled, before getting on with his work.

---

“Boss,” Sho said, as he entered the room, followed by Ohno and Aiba, “Don’t forget to eat,”

Jun rolled his eyes and stretched backwards, letting Sho gather up the paperwork that was strewn across his table and set it neatly to the side.

Ohno placed two trays of food on the table and bowed to him, waiting for Sho before he left.

“Ohno, you cook too much,” Jun said, looking up at him, “I can’t eat all of this,”

“Boss, you’re so thin. I’ve taken it upon myself to try and fatten you up a bit, how can you scare all the other groups if you look like a stick insect?”

Aiba gasped, his eyes going wide in shock as he expected Jun to lose his temper. However, he was surprised when Jun laughed, a musical, deep sound, making him feel all warm inside.

“Ohno, I think you should probably focus on feeding your skinny boyfriend, and not me,”

“No, you need to eat just as much as he does” Ohno said with a small smile.

“Sho, smack him for me when you leave,” Jun laughed. Sho smiled as he left the room, smacking Ohno hard across the back of his head.

“There you go, boss!”

“Thank you!”

Jun turned to face Aiba and nodded at the space on the floor in front of him.
Aiba sat down nervously and Jun pushed the tray of food towards him.

“You look like you could do with a decent meal as well,” He said, raising his eyebrows.

Aiba smiled sheepishly, before digging into his meal.
Jun’s eyes widened. By the way Aiba was eating, it looked like he hadn’t eaten for months.

Jun noticed that he was still in the same clothes that he was in when he arrived. They were ripped and had blood splattered in places, and he sized him up before getting to his feet.

“Well.. The closest person to you in size here is me, so you’ll have to borrow some of my clothes until we can get you some new ones,” He said, heading for his wardrobe.

“Cl.. Clothes?” Aiba said, dropping food every where.

“Well, unless you want to go around completely naked, you’re going to need to borrow some clothes,” Jun laughed. He threw him a t-shirt.

“At least change your shirt,”

Aiba nodded and got to his feet, as Jun headed back to the table. He stripped his shirt off, and Jun gasped when he saw Aiba’s torso.
What was clearly supposed to be lean and muscled, was covered in bruises and cuts from the attack, and without thinking, Jun reached out and ran his fingers slightly across his slightly swollen ribcage.

Aiba winced and stepped away from him, looking at him in shock.

“Um, as I thought.. It looks painful..” Jun said, feeling slightly flustered for some reason.

Aiba seemed to relax and nodded, “It hurts a little bit. Nothing I can’t live with, Matsumoto-san,”

Jun nodded and sat down. “Put your shirt on and eat  your dinner, puppy,” He said, tearing his eyes away from Aiba’s exposed torso with great difficulty.
For some reason, he was starting to feel anger bubbling up in his stomach, along with a desire to find whoever hurt Aiba, and throw them into a river, with weights attached to their ankles.

“Matsumoto-san?” Aiba said from across the table.

Jun looked up, not realizing that he’d been staring blankly into space.

“Are you okay?”

Jun cleared his throat, “Just eat your dinner,”

Jun watched the man eat, and decided that even if it was the last thing he did, he was going to find out who caused Aiba all of this pain, and kill them.
