It’s that time again! LOTSvideo has a new project out! And this project should appeal to any and all of the LOTS fans actively involved in the SOS campaign, because in this project we want to highlight the mailing efforts. Mailing letters and postcards is the backbone of the Save Our Seeker campaign and we want to show off the massive effort that this fandom is undertaking. Since the mailing campaign began, fans have often commented that it would be encouraging to know how many people were actually taking part in the effort. Now is your chance to put your hand up and be counted.
So what do we want from you?
We want pictures and videos that document your own mailing efforts. It can be images of the letters, postcards, empty printer cartridges, stamps rolls,… you name it, as long as it’s associated with mail you have actually sent in (or are about to send) to ABC/Disney and/or other networks (like Starz and DirecTV).
We’d also like to highlight some of the mailing campaigns like the Journey Book Campaign, When You Wish Upon a Star and Unhappy Heroes. These have great visuals associated with them and we love to see your creations. If you aren’t feeling particularly creative, there is a wonderful Seeker Photo Repository that has fabulous graphics that you can print and use for your mailings. The newest mass mailing campaign is called Operation Send It Back, and involves fans posting back the outer cover of the season 2 DVD to Disney-ABC to show our discontent with the words 'and final' blatantly printed on the box. We’d also love to see mailing from international fans showing off their international postage or country of origin in the background.
We’re going to get many photos of just the letters themselves, but remember it’s important to show that each of these letters is coming from different people and not just one massively obsessed fan, so if you’re comfortable doing so include yourself in the video/photo as well! Get creative! We’d love to see footage of people actually writing, sealing, stamping or mailing the letters. You can even make it a group effort, and have multiple people in your video.
Also, if you have the season 2 DVD, PLEASE take a photo of yourself (or any friends/family you can convince) holding the outer cover, or actual DVD. If the words '2nd and final season' made you angry/sad/determined to fight, show it in your picture! We may either include them in the video, or consider using them to make a collage to show how many of us are not going to accept this as the 'final season' of Legend of the Seeker.
What should you NOT include?
Do Not include your full name or home address. Please be sure that there is NO personal identifying information in the photo or video you submit. Ways to prevent that? Wait to add your return address until after you’ve taken the photo or video.

***The hope of this project is to show the networks that we are a force to be reckoned with when it comes to our dedication. We really want to show the large number of people who love this show, as well as the wide demographic it appeals to. If you have not participated in the mailings, or have not done so in a while, this would be the perfect time to do so!***
