If this were written for the author's benefit I would have mailed it to her, any flamers are acting entirely on their own initiative.
Notes: Anime is still infiltrating Lord of the Rings.
Title:
Stained Hands, Pure HeartAuthor: DArk-Side-of-da-FORCE (That's clear, considering the story.)
Summary: "Undoemlinn, the Crown-princess of the Ithildain, a warrior race new to Middle Earth finds herself stranded in 19th century Japan. Welcome Himura Kenshin, a homeless wanderer during the eleventh year of the Meiji Era. Both are extremely skilled in sword-pl"
Name: Princess Undomelinn Eldaraerlinn, aka Usagi
Species: 1/2 Elf, 1/2 Ithildain
Hair: "rivers of bright gold hair cascaded from her head to her slender waist"
Eyes: "her eyes greatly resembled sapphires"
Appearance:
-very beautiful
-"her skin was milky-white and her complexion flawless" (Milky-white skin would look odd.)
Special Possessions:
-a "majestic white mare" named Anor-el
-"Her bow and arrows were strapped to her back with a leather belt, so was her twin blades, while her sword hung in its sheath on a silver chain which acted as a belt on her slender waist." Her sword is covered in "countless white diamonds," and her arrows are tipped with diamonds. Come on, Sue! There are starving people in Rohan and you cover your weapons in diamonds?
Clothing: "was clad in her own black velvet gown and her grey cloak"
Backstory: Her mother was high priestess and her father a prince. Her parents were killed, and she's been trained as a warrior and a priestess.
Special Abilities:
-Because her mother was high priestess of Super Race and her father Elvish royalty, she's super speshul and powerful. Sauron wants her dead.
-She is known as the best warrior in Middle Earth.
-She has supernatural powers.
-"Her voice was immensely melodic and clear, like a small silver bell ringing in the morning." Her singing brings tears to the eyes of others, in a good way, the story insists.
"Flaws:" She has the "Curse of Sauron," which is an incurable poison. It comes and goes with her.
Connections to Canon: Her father was a son of Turgon! She was brought up by Elrond, Galadriel, and Gil-galad.
The Plot: Mary Sue inexplicably ends up in Japan after a bout of chronic Sauron-inflicted poison. Himura Kenshin, an overtalanted melodramatic redeemed ex-assassin of an anime character, finds her unconscious and spends the rest of the story hitting on her (which is very much OOC for the poor guy.) Kenshin tries to take care of her, but Sauron sends his ringwraiths to Japan to convert Kenshin to his side. Sauron knows that Kenshin may be the only warrior who has the skill to kill Mary Sue. Mary Sue saves Kenshin from Sauron's minions, and then she shows off her super-special powers and describes her super-special heritage.
Sample: Sauron's minions go to Japan. I apologize if that just broke your sanity.
“Then I will defend him even at the cost of my life!” Undomelinn shot back, jumping to the roof of a building. She took out a special, diamond tipped arrow with the inscription “I’m a holy arrow designed to thwart the demons of Sauron” I’m a holy arrow designed to thwart the demons of Sauron on the shaft. (The blessed weapons of the Elves and the Ithildain could harm the Nazgul, but not kill them, for they were bound to their Master, Sauron.) She took aim carefully, and released the arrow. It shot from the roof and into the Ringwraith’s cloaks and out again, sending a stream of black, acidic blood which completely dissolved the wooden shaft, excluding the diamond studded tip. Letting out another high-pitched scream, he rode off in pain.
With no sign of the other Nazgul in sight, she aided Kenshin back into the inn, where she was sure that they were safe; for the night. I hope there weren’t any casualties from the attack, she prayed, wile checking Kenshin’s body for any injury by the Morgul blade that the previous Ringwraith carried.
Kenshin woke up in his room and found Undomelinn asleep on a chair not far from him. She probably took me back here after I passed out, Kenshin thought. Who was the rider who tried to kill me? Why can’t I see his face? These questions flooded his mind, but somehow, Undomelinn seemed to have the answers, if not so, she wouldn’t have saved him from losing his hearing after such a high-pitched scream.
“Kenshin, you’re awake!” Undomelinn exclaimed wearily, trying to stifle a yawn.
“Yeah, I am”, Kenshin replied. He paused a moment, wondering whether to ask her the questions that came up in his mind, regarding the attack by the strange creatures and the rider in black. “Usagi, I have a few things that I don’t understand about the attack yesterday. What exactly are those things that ran amok in the village?”
“To understand those creatures, named Orcs, and their reason for attacking this village, you must know who I really am”, Undomelinn said, her sweet voice was grave and firm.
“What do mean, Usagi? You don’t have anything to do with them, do you?”
“I wish I didn’t, Kenshin”, Undomelinn replied. “They were after me, those Orcs, the riders in black”.
“Why?”
Undomelinn sighed, and told the whole truth about herself. From the prophecy made by the Ithildain High-Priestess before her, to the fact that she was heiress to a great civilization in Middle Earth and that she was hunted by Sauron all her life; everything was told precisely.
“Wait, if you say that you are immortal, and that you posses supernatural powers, how can you prove it?” Kenshin asked.
Undomelinn said nothing, but laid out her hand. Nothing happened for the first few seconds, but a blink of an eye later, Kenshin could see jolts of powerful lightning shoot from her fingertips and palm. Then, she set a basin filled with water in front of her and lifted her hand. A column of water rose up from the surface of the water, to the same level of her hand.
